Wintering III.
Wintering is a collection of thrown ceramics I completed in winter 2023/2024. The word 'wintering’ is about slowing down and resting. It reflects the act of hibernation which other animals do during winter.
I hope that these pieces will help you slow down and cherish little rituals of the everyday.
There is a variety of forms within this collection - ranging from cups for tea or a small coffee to little dishes for trinkets or spices, little plant pots to vases.
Each of my ceramic vessels is unique, as I throw and hand-build intuitively rather than aiming for the same shape each time, and constantly growing my clay and glaze repertoire.
Recommended use - Plant pot.
